I’ve also amalgamated my lists. My ultimate bucket lists are, in a way, even better than individual travel and trekking bucket lists, because they show off what I’ve crossed off and where I might be headed next:
Although I do a lot of online research when trying to find a new trail to hit, one of my favourite go-to resources is a book I purchased a few years ago — and haven’t regretted it since! Hiking in Ontario by Ulysses lists so many different types of trips and trails, it’s usually pretty easy to find something of interest by leafing through the pages. I also search the Ontario Parks website, of course, and I might also try a general web search if I’m still coming up blank. What are your favourite resources for finding out about new or different trips and trails?
