Easy to access from any direction, North Bay is located at the eastern end of Lake Nipissing. My favourite thing about North Bay is that its downtown boasts a wonderful lakeshore boardwalk for pedestrians, cyclists, and inline skaters just a block away from the main shopping area, and there are hiking and snowshoeing trails all over the region.

Snapped lots of various mushroom and fungi pics this year — here are a few of my faves… Half were taken in the French River area, the rest on the Duchesnay Falls trail in North Bay.
